Since time immemorial, Dancing has been a medicine. An art which eases the terrible frustration common to all human beings. The differentiation on the basis of race, creed or color is ‘Invisible’. Dance according to me can fight the sickening ignorance of prejudice. When I think of dancing; it takes me to a paradise of Dancers ‘GOA’. A Goan is said to be born with music in his blood and music literally accompanies him from the cradle to grave. Musical dancing traditions run in all generations and being there I discovered within me –‘A new world translated altogether’

My Goa Dance lessons

Flexibility, strength, endurance, sense of well-being – I now have all I look for… Dance as an intense form of expression has always helped taking over the blues of life. Dance is believed to be working on key aspects which are important to live a healthy and happy life. Dance is a strong physical expression according to many who chose the passion over the profession. Dancing with a partner is the expression of faith for each other. During my visit to Goa, I happened to discover a lot on this subject called Latin Dancing being enjoyed amongst all lots of public (local Goan’s and the tourists) creating a connection, a bonding irrespective of belongings or appearances.

Feeling of Love

I was in love and swayed away by this Dancing connection which still refreshes my memories. Pictures showcased here are a small tribute to these Dancers who are trying to keep the world happy. I felt as if only for few initial minutes you are in a crowd and when you reach an hour, you know each one and probably some are your new friends with this magical dancing spree! All these dances have depths. Salsa brings styling in their life; Bachata is love and gives a touch of softness and delicacy. Zuke is well intense and dancing to the beats brings the lost love charm back, rejuvenates the soul and strengthens the bond for the ones meant for each other.

The science and Doctors in their various researches discovered that dancing may be a triple benefit for the brain.Dancing increases the blood flow to the brain but also the social aspect of activity doesn’t lead to stress, depression, and loneliness.I am glad I got the opportunity to bring that change in my life and I shall be the happiest if I can bring that change in ‘Yours’!! An excellent practice for the mind, body, and soul. So my friends pick up a new heart, healthy habit and LEARN TO DANCE. Dream healthy with your feet.
